The Protection

Coated. Not Waxed.

A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your paint and cures into a hard, glossy, water-repelling layer. Unlike a wax that lasts weeks, a quality graphene coating protects for years — fighting UV fade, road grime, bird droppings, and water spots while making every future wash easier.

The catch most shops skip: a coating locks in whatever the paint looks like underneath. That's why our higher tier includes paint correction first — so you're sealing in real gloss, not trapped swirls.

Our Process

Done Right.

01

Decon Wash

A full decontamination wash and clay-bar to strip everything off the paint so the coating can bond.

02

Correct

Machine polishing to remove swirls and bring out true gloss before anything gets sealed in (PRO tier).

03

Coat

Graphene ceramic applied panel by panel and leveled by hand for an even, deep finish.

04

Cure

The coating cures hard. We hand off simple aftercare so it performs for years.

The Science

What A Coating Actually Is.

A Cured Layer, Not A Wax

A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer — most are built on SiO₂ (silicon dioxide), and ours is graphene-infused — applied panel by panel by hand. It chemically bonds with your clear coat and cures into a hard, glass-like layer. Once cured, it doesn't wash off, melt off in July, or wipe away like wax. It becomes the new outermost surface of your car.

What That Layer Does

The cured surface is extremely hydrophobic — water balls up and rolls off instead of sitting and etching. It resists UV fade, road salt (a Philly winter special), bug guts, and bird droppings long enough for you to wash them off without permanent damage. And because the surface is so slick, dirt struggles to stick — coated cars stay cleaner longer and wash faster.

Why Graphene

Graphene-infused coatings are the newer evolution of SiO₂ chemistry: a slicker finish, better resistance to water spotting, and added durability over standard formulas. It's what we apply on every Armor package — not the bargain-bin stuff.

No BS

Straight Answers.

It's Not Scratch-Proof

A coating resists light marring and wash-induced swirls — it is not a force field. Keys, shopping carts, and rocks don't care what's on your paint. What it does is absorb the daily abuse so your clear coat doesn't have to.

You Still Wash The Car

Coated cars get dirty too — they just rinse clean dramatically faster, and safe washing keeps the coating performing for its full lifespan. Anyone telling you "never wash again" is selling something.

Prep Is 90% Of The Job

Anyone can spread coating on a panel. The result lives or dies on the decontamination and paint correction before it. That's why the PRO tier corrects first — you're locking in perfected paint, not sealed-in swirls.

Cheap "Ceramic" Isn't This

A $30 spray bottle that says ceramic and a professionally prepped, multi-layer graphene coating are not the same product. One is a glorified sealant. The other changes how your car ages.

Aftercare

The First Week & Beyond.

01

Let It Cure

No washing for roughly the first 7 days while the coating fully hardens. Rain is fine — soap and agitation are not.

02

Wash It Right

pH-neutral soap, two-bucket hand wash or touchless. Skip the automatic brush tunnels — that's where swirls come from.

03

Dry Smart

Soft microfiber or filtered air. Don't let mineral-heavy water air-dry on the panels — that's how you spot a coating.

04

Boost It

An occasional ceramic top-up spray keeps the hydrophobics sharp. We tell you exactly what to use at handoff — it's part of the job.

FAQ

Good Questions.

How long does a ceramic coating last?
Our entry graphene coating lasts roughly 12 to 18 months. The multi-layer PRO system lasts about two-plus years with proper care. Longevity depends on how the vehicle is stored and maintained — we include aftercare guidance with every coating.
Is ceramic coating better than wax?
For protection and longevity, yes. Wax lasts weeks and sits on top of the paint. A ceramic coating chemically bonds to the paint and lasts years, with far stronger gloss, water-beading, and resistance to UV and contaminants.
Do I need paint correction before a coating?
It's strongly recommended. A coating seals in whatever is underneath, so any swirls or scratches get locked in too. Our Armor PRO package includes a one-step correction first so you're protecting corrected paint.
How much does ceramic coating cost?
Pricing starts at $499 for the entry Armor coating and $899 for the Armor PRO correction-plus-coating package, scaling with vehicle size. Exact pricing is shown when you book.
Can you coat my car at my house?
Coatings need a clean, controlled environment to cure properly, so they're done by appointment. When you book a coating we'll confirm the location and setup that works best for a flawless finish.
Does a coated car still need to be washed?
Yes — just less often and way faster. Dirt doesn't bond to the slick surface, so most washes are quick and low-effort. Regular safe washing is also what keeps the coating performing for its full lifespan.
Can you apply a ceramic coating in winter?
Coatings need a temperature-controlled space to cure properly, so cold-month installs come down to setup — a garage works. When you book, we confirm the location and conditions so the finish cures flawlessly.
Is graphene better than a regular ceramic coating?
It's the newer evolution of the same chemistry. Graphene-infused coatings add a slicker feel, better resistance to water spotting, and improved durability over standard SiO₂ formulas — which is why it's what we use on every Armor package.
Will a ceramic coating hide existing scratches?
No — a coating locks in whatever is underneath it, swirls included. Removing defects is paint correction's job, which is exactly why The Armor PRO corrects the paint first and then seals it.
