Why Decon Is The Whole Point.

Run your hand over your paint after a normal wash — that gritty feel is bonded contamination: rail dust, brake dust, tar, industrial fallout. Soap does not touch it. Clay bar and iron remover pull it out of the paint, which is why our finish feels like glass and everyone else's feels clean-ish. Most shops sell decon as a separate line item; at Fow-Savage it is simply how an exterior detail is done.

What does an exterior detail cost?
Skin Deep starts at $125 for coupes, $150 for sedans and SUVs, and $175 for trucks and three-rows — full decontamination included at every size.
Is this just a fancy car wash?
No. A wash removes loose dirt. Skin Deep removes what's bonded INTO the paint — clay and iron decon — then seals the result. It's the difference between clean and corrected-ready.
How long does it take?
Around 2-3 hours depending on size and condition. We work at your driveway, so the time costs you nothing.
How often should I book it?
Cars that live outside: every 2-3 months keeps the paint genuinely clean. Garaged cars can stretch longer. Pair it with The Armor ceramic coating and maintenance gets dramatically easier.
Do you need my water or power?
For most jobs we bring what we need. A spigot and outlet help for the deepest work — mention what's available when you book.
What should I add to it?
Trim Revival ($40) if your plastics have gone grey, Headlight Restoration ($60) for cloudy lenses, and Engine Bay ($50) if you want the whole car honest.
